Iowa Congressman And Glenn Beck Agree: Sunday Health Care Vote Is 'An Affront To God'
“They intend to vote on the Sabbath, during Lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God,” King said.
“Faith has been perverted,” Beck responded, then repeated. “They are going to vote for this damn thing on a Sunday, which is the Sabbath, during Lent.”
Umm… last I checked, the Sabbath was on SATURDAY. The Sabbath (as referenced in the Ten Commandments—which is what I’m assuming they’re up in arm about “respecting”) refers to the day that Jews celebrate the Sabbath (from sunset on Friday until the stars appear on Saturday night).
Hahahahaha! Oh god…too much.
